1. Software Provided "As Is"

  1. The desktop software products released on this website (including but not limited to SQLKit, collectively the "Software") are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranties regarding the Software, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, continuous availability, or error-free or uninterrupted operation.
  3. Features marked as "planned" on the product page represent development intentions only and do not constitute any delivery commitment.

2. Database Operation Risk Notice (Important)

  1. The Software is a database client tool that can perform read and write operations on the databases you connect to. Executing SQL statements (especially UPDATE, DELETE, DROP, TRUNCATE, etc.) may modify or permanently delete data.
  2. You should verify the correctness and impact scope of statements before executing them, and back up important databases in advance. Avoid operating directly on production environments without authorization.
  3. Data loss, corruption, leakage, or business interruption caused by your operations, the content of your SQL statements, mistakes, or failure to back up shall be borne by you; we assume no liability therefor. Where damage is caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence, or where mandatory provisions of law provide otherwise, the law shall apply.
  4. Notice for EU/EEA Consumers: If you are an EU/EEA consumer and data loss is directly caused by a defect that existed in the Software at the time of delivery (pursuant to Article 10 of Directive (EU) 2019/770 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services), the foregoing disclaimer shall not apply. Your obligation to back up data is not thereby relieved.

3. Official Channels and Software Integrity

  1. The official release channels of the Software are: the download links published on this website (including cloud drive links) and the official stores published on this website.
  2. For installation packages obtained from any unofficial channel, we do not guarantee integrity, security, or authenticity. Repackaging, bundling, or injection of malicious code into the Software by third parties is unrelated to us, and you bear the resulting risks and losses.
  3. Do not use cracked or modified builds. Using such builds violates the End User License Agreement and may endanger the security of your device and data.

4. Third-Party Services and Links

  1. This website and the Software may contain links to third-party services (such as cloud drives, e-commerce platforms, and cloud database services). The availability, content, and conduct of such third-party services are the responsibility of the third parties; we make no warranties and assume no liability for them.
  2. Your transactions, accounts, and data relationships with third-party platforms are governed by those third parties' agreements and policies.

5. Lawful Use Obligations

  1. You must ensure that you have legitimate access and operation rights to the databases you connect to and the data within them.
  2. Using the Software for any activity that violates laws or regulations is prohibited, including but not limited to unauthorized intrusion into others' databases, stealing or destroying data, or infringing others' privacy or trade secrets. All legal liability arising therefrom shall be borne by the actor.

6. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, loss of data value, loss of goodwill, or business interruption losses.
  2. Our aggregate liability for all matters related to the Software shall not exceed the total price you actually paid for the relevant license; as Free edition users pay no consideration, we assume no liability for damages to them. The foregoing limitations do not apply where damage is caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence, or where mandatory provisions of law provide otherwise.

7. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for service interruption, delay, or damage caused by force majeure or causes beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, network failures, power outages, third-party service interruptions (e.g., cloud drive or e-commerce platform outages), or changes in laws and policies, but we will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact.

8. Relationship with Other Documents

This Notice, together with the End User License Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and the After-Sales & Refund Policy, constitutes the complete set of rules for your use of this website and the Software. Matters not covered by this Notice are governed by the End User License Agreement.
