This Policy applies to this website and the desktop software products released on it (including but not limited to SQLKit, collectively the "Software"). This Policy is written and published in Chinese; in case of any discrepancy, the Chinese version shall prevail.

1. Core Commitments

We respect and protect your personal information. Please note the following key points first:

1. The Software itself does not collect or upload any of your personal information. There is no account system, and no registration is required;
2. All of your business data in the Software (database connection configurations, SQL statements, query results, etc.) is stored and processed only on your local device; we cannot access it;
3. The "Machine Info" used for license activation is a technical string produced by irreversible processing and cannot be used to identify your real identity;
4. Purchases take place on third-party e-commerce platforms; we do not collect or store any of your payment information.

2. Data Processing in the Desktop Software

1. The Software is a locally running desktop tool. Your database connection configurations (including host, port, account, etc.), SQL statements, query results, and preferences are saved in the application data directory on your local device and are not uploaded to our servers.
2. The Software contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics trackers, and does not collect or report usage behavior data in the background.
3. Future versions may include a "version update check" feature: it only sends a version query request to the official server (containing at most non-personal technical parameters such as the current software version and operating system type), solely to determine whether a new version is available; it will not collect or upload your personal information, business data, or other sensitive information. If this feature goes live, we will update this Policy accordingly.
4. Uninstalling the Software or manually clearing the application data directory deletes the above local data. You are responsible for backing up and safeguarding your own data.

3. About Machine Info (Device Information)

1. To activate the Pro edition, you need to actively copy the "Machine Info" on the app's "Settings → License" page and provide it to us through the customer service channel, so that we can issue a license bound to your device.
2. The Machine Info is a string generated from device hardware and system parameters through irreversible processing (hashing), and is processed/derived information:
   • it contains no raw device identifiers such as serial numbers or network card addresses, and the original information cannot be reconstructed from it;
   • it cannot be used to identify your real identity, and we undertake not to use it for device tracking, user profiling, or cross-referencing with other information;
   • its sole purpose is to verify the binding between a license and a device.
3. Machine Info and the corresponding license issuance records are retained during the license service period; after the license expires or is terminated, the relevant records are retained for a maximum of 6 months (for handling potential after-sales disputes and fulfilling statutory obligations), then automatically deleted. These records are used solely for after-sales services such as device migration and license reissuance.

4. Payment and Transaction Information

1. License purchases are completed on third-party e-commerce platforms (e.g., Taobao), and payment takes place within those platforms. We do not collect or store your payment accounts, bank card numbers, transaction records, or any other payment information.
2. The collection and processing of your personal information by third-party platforms during transactions (such as delivery, payment, and account information) are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies and are their independent responsibility; they fall outside the scope of this Policy. We recommend reading a platform's privacy policy before using it.
3. Information you voluntarily provide to us during after-sales service (order numbers, communication accounts, etc.) is used only to verify orders, deliver licenses, and handle after-sales matters, and not for any other purpose.

5. Data Processing on This Website

1. This website is a product showcase site with no account registration and no data-collection forms; it does not actively collect your personal information.
2. The web server automatically records access logs (such as IP address, access time, and browser type). These logs are used only for security protection and troubleshooting, retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted, and are not used to identify or track specific visitors.
3. This website uses browser local storage (localStorage) to save your language preference. This data stays only in your browser and is not sent to us. This website currently uses no third-party advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies; if such tools are introduced in the future, we will update this Policy and provide prominent notice.

6. Disclosure of Information

We will not provide your information to any third party except in the following circumstances:

1. with your explicit consent;
2. as mandatorily required by laws, regulations, or judicial or administrative authorities;
3. providing necessary issuance and delivery records to an e-commerce platform when it intervenes in an after-sales dispute.

7. Your Rights

To the extent provided by laws and regulations, you have the right to:

1. access and obtain a copy of the retained information related to you (such as Machine Info and license issuance records);
2. request correction if you find the information inaccurate;
3. request deletion of the relevant information. Please note: Machine Info and issuance records are the necessary basis for license after-sales services (device migration and reissuance); once deleted, we will no longer be able to provide migration or reissuance for the corresponding license;
4. withdraw consent. You may stop using the Software at any time and delete local data as described in Section 2.

To exercise these rights, please contact us via the contact information in Section 11. We will process and respond within a reasonable period after verifying your identity (e.g., order number).

8. Protection of Minors

The Software is a developer tool and is not designed for minors. If you are a minor, please use it under the guidance of a guardian; we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Policy from time to time in response to product or legal changes. Revised versions take effect upon publication on this website, and material changes will be prominently notified.

10. International Users & EU Supplementary Notice

This section applies to users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar laws apply.

1. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR Article 6)

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): processing of Machine Info, license issuance and verification, after-sales device migration and reissuance;
• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): website access logs (for network security and troubleshooting); recording of information during after-sales communication (for dispute handling); language preference setting (stored in your browser, to serve you the corresponding language version);
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): if any data processing activities requiring consent are introduced in the future, we will seek your explicit consent separately.

3. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Our servers are located within the territory of the People's Republic of China.

• Website access logs (including IP addresses): under the GDPR, IP addresses may constitute personal data. When EU/EEA users visit this website, access logs are transferred to servers in China. We process this data on the basis of legitimate interests (network security and troubleshooting) and apply safeguards including automatic deletion after 90 days and no association with any user identifiers.
• Machine Info and license issuance records: as described in Section 3, Machine Info is a string produced by irreversible hashing and cannot be reverse-engineered or used to identify a specific natural person. Pursuant to GDPR Article 4(1) and Recital 26, data rendered anonymous such that the data subject is no longer identifiable does not constitute personal data; accordingly, the GDPR's restrictions on cross-border transfers do not apply to Machine Info and its associated issuance records. For transparency, we disclose that such data is also stored on servers in China.

4. Additional Rights Under the GDPR

In addition to the rights set out in Section 7, you also enjoy:

• Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: if you believe our data processing violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your EU/EEA Member State of residence;
• Right to object (GDPR Article 21): for processing based on legitimate interests (such as website access logs), you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will cease processing upon receipt of your objection unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims;
• Right to data portability: to the extent technically feasible and applicable, you have the right to receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

5. Note on EU Representative

Considering that we:

• only occasionally process data relating to EU residents (only when a user proactively makes a purchase or contacts us);
• process limited categories and volumes of data, none of which is sensitive;
• do not pose a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals,

pursuant to GDPR Article 27(2), we are temporarily exempt from designating an EU representative.
